Additional infromation: The MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe supports the EU film and audiovisual industries financially in the development, distribution and promotion of their work. It helps to launch projects with a European dimension and nurtures new technologies; it enables European films and audiovisual works including feature films, television drama, documentaries and new media to find markets beyond national and European borders; it funds training and film development schemes.

Additional Information

Key Action 3 provides grants for a wide variety of actions aimed at stimulating innovative policy development, policy dialogue and implementation, and the exchange of knowledge in the fields of education, training and youth. The majority of them are managed by the EACEA. Most of the actions under KA3 are managed outside the annual general call for proposals.

Additional information: Within Key Action 3 - Support for Policy Reform, the Prospective Initiatives are Initiatives for policy innovation aimed to develop new policies or prepare their implementation.

Types of actions are foreseen under the Prospective Initiatives:

Forward-looking cooperation projects, which aims to stimulate innovative policy development;
European policy experimentations, which are led by high level public authorities to experiment policy implementation through field trials in several countries based on sound evaluation methods.

Additional information: the aim of the programm is o increase the translation, promotion and readership of high quality European literature. It supports:

- The translation and publication of a "package" of 3 to 10 works of fiction from, and into, eligible languages. Either the source or the target language must be officially recognised in an EU Member States or an EFTA country. Translations from Latin and ancient Greek (source language) into officially recognised languages are also possible.

- The promotion of the translated books, including the appropriate use of digital technologies, in both the distribution and promotion of the works.
